Terms of Service

1. Service description
TidyImports provides three CSV data preparation tools:
- Sheet Cleaner — Remove duplicates, normalise dates, trim whitespace, and fix common spreadsheet issues.
- CRM Mapper — Automatically map CSV column headers to CRM field names for HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, and Zoho, then export a cleaned, import-ready file.
- CSV Validator — Check CSV files for structural issues (missing headers, duplicate columns, malformed rows) and schema violations before import.
The service is operated by Mind's Eye Technologies Ltd (New Zealand). By using TidyImports, you agree to these terms.
2. Plans and pricing

A "file" is one upload processed through any of the three tools. Files that fail to process (e.g. due to a malformed CSV) do not count toward your limit.
Unused file allowances do not roll over to the following billing period. Payment is processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
3. AI accuracy disclaimer
The CRM Mapper tool uses AI-assisted column mapping suggestions. Suggestions should be reviewed — AI mapping suggestions are not guaranteed to be correct. You are responsible for verifying that mapped fields match your intended target fields before completing an import into any CRM system. TidyImports is not liable for incorrect imports resulting from unreviewed AI suggestions.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload files containing illegal content or content that violates others' rights.
- Use the service to process data in violation of applicable privacy laws (including GDPR, NZ Privacy Act, CCPA).
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or automate the service in ways that circumvent usage limits or degrade service for other users.
- Share account credentials or resell access to the service.
5. Data handling
Uploaded files are processed ephemerally and deleted within 1 hour. We do not retain your CSV data after processing. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
6. Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be announced where possible. No SLA is provided at the Starter plan level. Pro plan customers may contact support for uptime commitments.
7. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time via the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then. We do not offer refunds for partial months unless required by applicable consumer law.
8. Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, Mind's Eye Technologies Ltd's total liability for any claim arising from use of TidyImports is limited to the amounts you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including lost business or data loss resulting from CRM import errors.
9. Intellectual property
TidyImports and its tools are the intellectual property of Mind's Eye Technologies Ltd. Your data remains yours — we claim no ownership over files you upload.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of the service after notice constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of New Zealand.
